Je ne connaissais pas Michelle Frost et je découvre avec plaisir son écriture.
Ici nous avons affaire à une histoire assez classique dans sa trame qui n’apporte pas de nouveauté au genre. Mais le récit est fluide et bien maîtrisé si ce n’est une petite chose qui déstabilise : les chapitres débutent sans contexte et parfois on doit relire car on est un peu perdus
La romance se met en place doucement, les moments intenses sont un peu édulcorés mais l’auteure nous avait prévenus, pas de cliffhanger et une HEA. J’ai bien aimé nos deux héros et les personnages secondaires d’ailleurs le roman sur
En fait pour bien apprécier notre lecture, il faut la prendre comme une lecture sans prise de tête et assez facile. Vous avez un moment à passer et vous cherchez une lecture sans de grosses poussées d’adrénaline, eh bien ce roman est fait pour vous.
En résumé une lecture sympathique qui ne révolutionne pas le genre mais qui en suit les codes…

I didn’t know Michelle Frost and i discover her writing with pleasure.
Here we are dealing with a fairly classic story in its fabric that does not bring anything new to the genre. But the story is fluid and well mastered if not a little thing that destabilizes: the chapters begin without context and sometimes we have to read again because we are a bit lost
The romance takes place slowly, the intense moments are a little watered down but the author had warned us, no cliffhanger and a HEA. I really liked our two heroes and the secondary characters besides the novel on
In fact to fully appreciate our reading, we must take it as a reading without headache and quite easy. You have a moment to pass and you are looking for a reading without big adrenaline rushes, well this novel is made for you.
In summary, a pleasant reading which does not revolutionize the genre but which follows its codes …
