JAKE is an angsty opposites-attract Romance in the Single Dads of Gaynor Beach world with a grumpy mechanic, a sunshiny high school teacher with a secret, size difference and a few first times, and three teenagers who are more perceptive than their parents bargained for.

I did not know the author and it is a great discovery.
Here we will have the theme of single fathers with a little novelty: a dominant submissive relationship but it will remain soft. The heroes will go gradually given that one is new to it.
I really liked the universe. The family background is well designed. The characters interact perfectly.
There will be a touch of suspense vis-à-vis one of the heroes who has a sword of Damocles above his head. This will influence his decisions and thus create a rhythm in his romantic relationship.
The sexy scenes are very well described. The only thing I regret is that given Micah’s past, we don’t end up going very far in these. The author remains relatively soft.
In summary a nice read, it would have deserved a deepening of the kink of the characters.

Je ne connaissais pas l’auteur et c’est une belle découverte.
Ici nous aurons le thème des pères célibataires avec une petite nouveauté : une relation dominant soumis mais cela restera soft. Les héros iront progressivement étant donné qu’un est novice dedans.
J’ai bien aimé l’univers. Le background familial est bien conçu. Les personnages interagissent parfaitement.
Il y aura une pointe de suspense vis à vis d’un des héros qui a comme une épée de Damoclès au-dessus de la tête. Ceci va influencer ses décisions et créer ainsi un rythme dans sa relation amoureuse.
Les scènes sexy sont très bien décrites. La seule chose que je regrette c’est que vu le passé de Micah on n’aille au final pas très loin dans celles-ci. L’auteur reste relativement soft.
En résumé une belle lecture, elle aurait mérité un approfondissement du kink des personnages.
