Nous avons ici une histoire de Amis à Amants. Je ne connaissais pas cette auteure quand j’ai demandé l’ARC.
Rhys et Lucien sont meilleurs amis depuis tous petits. Suite à une nuit de beuverie pendant l’enterrement de vie de garçon de Rhys, ils se retrouvent mariés. Ce mariage est-il une erreur ou la concrétisation de sentiments cachés ?
Bien entendu ce mariage cause la séparation de Rhys et Olivia mais inconsciemment c’est ce que souhaitait Rhys car il s’aveuglait sur ses sentiments pour Olivia, femme alléchée par l’argent.
C’est donc l’occasion pour nos deux amis de s’interroger sur leurs sentiments. Doivent-ils annuler ce mariage ?
L’auteur nous dépeint ici une petite romance sans prétention. Elle se lit de manière fluide mais elle ne nous laisse pas un souvenir impérissable. Elle est parfaite pour un petit moment de détente.
J’ai bien aimé la tension sexuelle entre Rhys et Lucien mais j’ai trouvé que le côté émotionnel n’était pas assez approfondi. Les personnages ne sont pas assez travaillés à mon goût.
En résumé une petite romance avec un HEA qui fait le job de nous détendre.

Of course this marriage causes the separation of Rhys and Olivia but subconsciously this is what Rhys wanted because he was blinded to his feelings for Olivia, woman lulled by money.
This is an opportunity for our two friends to question their feelings. Should they cancel this marriage ?
The author describes a little unpretentious romance here. It reads fluently but it does not leave us an unforgettable memory. It is perfect for a little moment of relaxation.
I liked the sexual tension between Rhys and Lucien but I found that the emotional side was not deep enough. The characters are not worked enough for my taste.
In short, a little romance with a HEA that does the job of relaxing us.
